Subject to availability Community360 provides community transport in Colchester, Chelmsford and Maldon. The Scheme improves the transport provision for people in the local community who have limited mobility or who would otherwise be socially excluded or geographically isolated.

A range of services are available from Essex Home Help Service. We are a privately funded service dedicated to helping you live independently in the comfort of your own home. Services including managing housework, shopping and sitting/companionship are available.

Macular Society - Chelmsford Support Group
Local groups provide information and support to those with macular disease, their family and friends. Each one is a welcoming and compassionate place to learn about the support available, build your confidence, and better understand your own macular disease. Supporting those who have acquired hearing loss by offering practical help, support, advice and guidance. This includes an NHS hearing aid support service to assist with essential re-tubing, cleaning and general hearing aid maintenance.

Meadows Shopmobility
Meadows Shopmobility is a charity that loans mobility scooters, powered and manual wheelchairs and rollators to anyone in the Chelmsford area with a permanent or temporary mobility problem.

Age Well East
Offering a variety of services such as advice and information regarding pensions, benefits & entitlements, housing, Blue Badge disability parking permit applications, and assisting people to keep safe from increasing cybercrime and fraud. Dementia support and information, and community friendship services which range from one-to-one befriending, online and in-person friendship, groups and activities.
